question for hair dyers!

suckkitin:

I am going to dye the tips of my hair pale pink, but I think the dye I am buying is too bright. I already know to bleach my ends white, but what should I use to mix in with the pink dye to make it lighter?

I’m using this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GDKRJ8/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?ie=UTF8&m=A1NXFG41Q84DET

I want the color to turn out like this:http://weheartit.com/entry/3257189

anyone know what to add?

Some of you are saying use conditioner and some aren’t! Anyone have experience with this?

You don’t want to bleach your ends too white cause no light color will stick to the hair. So try to bleach it too a pale...
  3. myownbeatnow answered: Using conditioner before dyeing it will make the dye stick to your hair less, thus making the dye show up lighter.
  4. stilllllllugly answered: You have to just wait and let it wash out
  5. waytolivee answered: if it’s semi-permanent it’ll start off bright and fade to a lighter pink
  6. smokingweedwillsetyoufree answered: lesson 101: you don’t dye your hair…you dye an Easter egg. you color your hair.
  7. writingprotestsongstonight answered: Just add a lot of conditioner. Maybe you could wash your hair with H&S after your have dyed it, because H&S shampoo takes the brightness away
  8. lunarelle answered: only use conditioner when you’re washing out a toner. rinse bleach out with cold water and use conditioner to wash out pink & lighten it up.
  9. adnelle answered: Dilute it with conditioner! It will give it a nice “wash”. And even if you do a little too bright, it will fade into the color you want soon
  10. sinofthemockingbird answered: Just find a lighter dye. Obviously, don’t use a dye that you don’t want the color of.

If it is not a dye that...then do not mix anything with it. If you cannot buy pale pink...

  13. yoga-body answered: Mix it with conditionner.
  14. smoooth-sailing answered: you should just look up a different hair dye. like this one manicpanic.com/besthai…
  15. 100lbstoperfection answered: just don’t let it sit for however long the bottle says, and it will significantly fade over the first few washes
  16. abusemeorloseme answered: mix it with conditioner, equal parts.
  17. dillonation answered: dont think conditioner will work… rinse it out right after you put it in and use sulfate shamp. shampoo it twice
  18. sourinyoursweet answered: whiter shade of pale toner by paintbox.
  19. bayleef answered: dilute with conditioner!
  20. musicalromantic answered: hmm…. maybe manicpanic.com/besthai…
  21. stupidisc0xx said: white conditioner
  22. subtle-breed answered: dont let it sit for as long as it should! im not sure what you could add, just dont leave it in that long is my best advice xx
