How do I lose weight the healthy way?

  • You should eat three meals and one-two snacks (or 5 small meals), or whenever you’re hungry, consisting of a healthy protein, fat, and carb. Try to not drink your calories, and trade in junk food for fruit. Also drink tons of water and do cardio 3-5 times a week.

Small tips:

  1. Trade in white breads for whole wheat
  2. If you must eat a bagel, scoop out the insides
  3. Strength training helps with boosting the metabolism.

How long will it take me to lose X amount of pounds?

  • Take the number of pounds you want to lose and divide it by 2. This means you’ll be losing two pounds a week. (EX: 10/2= 5)
  • That number, (5) is the number of weeks it will take you to lose the weight.
  • Divide that number by 4 to figure out how many months.

I am X feet tall and weigh X amount of pounds, am I healthy/unhealthy?

  • 1. I have no idea what you look like, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you. You could be all fat, all muscle, a good combination of both, or completely healthy and I would have no idea from those two pieces of information.

    3. Even if I did want to tell you what I thought, 1. nobody can be the judge of your body but you.  and 2. You shouldn’t be basing your weight/ body image on other people standerds!!!!!!!!!!! People will always be calling you too fat, too skinny, too muscular, and too curvy, and it is honestly not their place to say. Do what feels right to you because other people can change their opinions in a second, but you have to live with your body forever.

What is your meal plan/ What do you eat on an average day?

Meal plan:

Breakfast (top 3 most common)

  • Fruit with almonds
  • Eggwhites with a fruit
  • Eggwhites and oatmeal

Lunch: (usually have a fruit with any of these meals if I’m still hungry)

  • Hummus with tomatoes, olives, and toasted pita
  • Turkey on whole wheat with mustard
  • Turkey wrap with tomatoes and lettuce (whole wheat)
  • Chicken panini without bread or mozerella
  • Chopped salad with grilled chicken
  • Salmon roll with brown rice (sushi)

Snack:

  • any fruit with 1/2 cup of greek yogurt with PB2 mixed in

Dinner (whatever my mom makes me consisting of starches, proteins, and fats)

What is your exercise routine?

(5-6 days a week)

  • Hula hoop for 30-60 minutes
  • 200-500 jumping jacks
  • stretch
  • 25-50 crunches
  • 50 scissor kicks
  • 10 push-ups
  • Other random ass exercises I feel like doing
